Yep! It is that time again. SPRING BREAK!
Vans will be leaving Thursday night or Friday morning, talk to your van about your departure time. Vans can be picked up between 4 and 6 ( they close at 6).
If you leave Thursday around 10pm you will arrive in Statesboro, GA around mid afternoon (3pmish) and be able to camp at the fields and get a good nights rest. If you leave Friday, try to leave no later then noon to make sure you will make it in time.
Expect to spend about $70-$80 on gas per person, plus extra for any day trips you go on during the week. Also figure about $10 a day for food, so somewhere around $70-$100 for the week, depending on how much you eat and how you choose to spend it. You can cook at the house to save on this cost. That adds up to about $200 total you will end up spending by the end of the week, so plan ahead.
Camping is allowed at the fields under these guidelines.
Guidelines:No Alcohol is allowed at any one of the field sites during the entire weekend, those who bring Alcohol will suffer the consequences brought to them by the Statesboro Police.

Mardi Gras is coming quick and this is always the most 'in demand' tournament of the year. So...here are the basics.
We will leave Thursday night between 8-midnight, except for one van which will leave Friday at 2 pm. CLICK HERE FOR VANS. You should expect to get back to Milwaukee between 7-10 Monday morning. You can probably expect gas to run you between $40 and $60.
PLEASE READ: Important info about Bourbon street to make sure you have a safe and fun time.
IMPORTANT:
Because of the high demand, we are making the Mardi Gras fee non-refundable and due SATURDAY (Feb 11). If you haven't paid Hirschman or Gardner by Saturday, there is a good chance your spot will be given up to an alumni or random. At this point we sit at 58 between A, B, women's and coaches. If you aren't among the first 56 to pay and we can't fill/end up deciding not to take a 9th van, you might be out of luck.
COSTS:
Men's A - $35
Men's B - $30
Women's - $15
Non-player - $75
The cutoff date is Saturday 2/11 so we know if we should get another van and hotel room. Dipping out late is extremely inconvenient for us as we organize, so please let us know immediately if you aren't going.
Click here for the open divison pools. Here is a link to the van assignments. Check them often as they will continue to change. Let Mike Gardner/Jonathan Shertok (for the guys) or Ana Baker (for the girls) know if your not on it and your suppose to be or if your on it and shouldn't be. Everyone should bring about $15 in CASH for gas, chances are you will not be allowed in the van without it.
Vans will be available for pick up between 1pm and 6pm. Call Enterprise (414) 540-7100 before you go there to make sure they have one available and ready. We will be staying at the Knights Inn click for directions.
Here are the pools. In case these pools are confusing (which they are), A-team plays Winona St., Madison TIE, Platteville, and MATC-Madison and has a first round bye. Get out and support the other Blackcat teams for a half hour before warmups.

Championship bracket Sunday will be played at Delong, Chumpionship will be played at South. Here is a link to the Calendar page!
Level 1 means those tryouts are required for anyone trying out for A. Level 2 means they will be more catered toward beginners, covering the basics. Anyone is welcome at either, however, the level 2 tryouts will be closer to what you should expect of a B team practice and the level 1 tryouts are closer to what you should expect at an A team practice.
The core had a meeting on Sunday and finalized fees for the Fall season.
We are going to four tournaments this Fall:
The fee for the four tournaments is 60 dollars. If you can only make it to 3, the fee is 50 dollars. If you can only make it to one or two it is 20 dollars per tournament. So it breaks down, 20 20 10 10 if you are confused at all.
The deadline to pay these fees is September 27th.
There is one exception to this date: If you set up a payment plan with Ben Hirschman before then, of either two or three payments, you have the opportunity to pay up until the day before the tournament.
If you don't pay by the 27th or set up a payment plan, the cost is 20 dollars per tournament, for all four tournaments, so do it soon.
Greetings to all those who are just joining us and a welcome back to all those of you joining us again! Keep checking this website for up to date info on tournaments, practices, and team info. Use the Calendar page to find out when and where our first few social scrimmages and tournaments are.
See you on the field!
Congrats to those elected for the 2011-2012 Ultimate season!
